A prestigious luxury custom home builder is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their office in Sarasota, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading luxury home builder on prestigious custom home projects throughout the region.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the management of high-end residential construction projects from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ground-up building processes. While experience in custom home building is preferred, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all aspects of luxury custom home projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors.
- Support senior project managers in overseeing construction activities, ensuring projects meet quality standards and timelines.
- Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, architects, and construction teams.
- Monitor and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Help manage on-site activities and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Requirements:
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager.
- Experience in the ground-up building process for residential homes.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
